What We Do
Electrical contracting since 2017
Established in 2017, KELM has constructed the Butimba treatment-plant supply, installed transformer substations at Mwazimba and Mawemiru, and relocated approximately 5.5km of overhead line at Buckreef. We undertake electrical design, equipment supply, construction, testing and maintenance.
Substations & Transformers
Transformer and substation installation, testing, relocation, servicing and commissioning from 25kVA to 15MVA.
Switchgear & Protection
MV and LV switchgear, metering, relays, protection checks and commissioning up to 36kV.
Industrial Power Systems
Distribution boards, control panels, cabling, motors, pumps and generator connections.

KELM supplies transformers, switchgear, panels and line materials as equipment orders or as part of an installation contract. We check ratings, connections, protection requirements and site access before confirming supply.
