Route Planning
Surveyed and established a new corridor compatible with active and planned mine development.

Re-routing an existing MV supply around expanding mine infrastructure while protecting continuity and safety.
Project Overview
KELM relocated 5.5km of existing 33kV overhead line at Buckreef Gold Mine to clear areas required for mining operations and infrastructure development.
The scope combined route planning, new line construction, dismantling, re-erection, reconnection and full testing, with the work sequenced around the mine's requirement for dependable power.
What KELM Did
Surveyed and established a new corridor compatible with active and planned mine development.
Installed poles, conductors, hardware and associated protection across the 5.5km route.
Safely removed existing line components and coordinated re-erection and replacement work.
Integrated the relocated line, completed electrical tests and returned the system to operation.
