Project Overview

Re-routing live infrastructure around site development

KELM constructed a new 33kV overhead line to divert supply away from an existing corridor affected by infrastructure development. The assignment required precise route surveying, new line construction, switching coordination, demolition and restoration.

The new route was completed, tested and integrated before the previous poles, conductors and hardware were safely removed.

Line Construction

Installed poles, insulators, crossarms and conductors with controlled sagging and tensioning.

Supply Transfer

Planned switching and temporary arrangements to manage continuity during cutover.

Demolition & Handover

Removed the old line, restored the site and completed testing and as-built documentation.
